Luke 14:23 Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.

West End Tabernacle's members want to ensure that everyone who wants to be engaged in ministry whether they are a leader or a participant has transportation to get to where they need to be via safe and reliable vehicle(s) that is/are well maintained. This may include getting people to church, Bible study, conferences, events, puppet ministry recordings, meetings, etc.

Regardless if the vehicle includes the church bus, van, or a member's personal vehicle, love and hospitality abound.

We are in the process of major van and bus maintenance, safety repair, and upgrades. In addition, we are trying to payoff the newly acquired bus note. The total goal for this project is $10,000.00 before July 1, 2019.

Inter-generational

Many turn to their church and Sunday school class to find the community they need. What happens to senior adults when they no longer can drive and are unable to attend Sunday morning worship, Sunday school, prayer meetings, or Bible study classes? What happens to members and friends who would like join us for the myriad of ministries offered but need a ride? What happens to our youth and children who find comfort, love, sanctuary, strength, resources, and mentorship but need a safe way to attend.

Providing transportation is a very important ministry for the West End Tabernacle Christian Methodist Episcopal church family especially when opportunities for transportation may be limited.  We understand that providing transportation can make a significant difference in the well-being of our community.

Family

In part, the Transportation Ministry’s purpose is to reach others with the gospel by providing transportation on a regular basis.  We provide safe and consistent transportation to the people of God. This ministry grants us various opportunities for many lives to be cared for by our loving transportation ministry staff. Our transportation ministry is a valuable outreach of our church, designed to reach and cater to the entire family.

The drivers and leaders of the transportation ministry strive to focus on providing a warm, friendly and clean environment on the van or bus. To schedule transportation for yourself or learn how you can become a part of this great ministry, contact us below.
